Born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Salim moved to London at a young age but his love for Mama Africa never disappeared.
Salim Co-Founded Sandals For Goalposts, one of the most trusted sources for African football to English speakers. A keen student of the game, his writing on African football has been featured in popular outlets like the BBC, The Daily Telegraph, London Metro, London City AM, FourFourTwo, and the OfficIal FIFA World Cup 2014 magazine.
He also regularly features for TalkSport’s Swahili Service as part of their English Premier League coverage in East Africa. He was named the Start Up Loans Personality of the Year in 2015 and was part of the UK Parliament’s Talent Management Programme in 2018.
Calm, patient and personable, Salim holds qualifications in football talent identification and a degree in Human Geography.
Abdul Musa, Co-Founder / CEO

Born in London, Abdul’s Sudanese parents filled him with love for the mother land as well as the beautiful continent of Africa as a whole.
An African football enthusiast, Abdul’s work has featured on BBC Arabic, Al Jazeera English and CGTV. He has spoken and written about African football for various African footballing websites.
Hard working with the passion for the game to match, Abdul is a registered intermediary with the English FA. He is based in London and holds qualifications in scouting as well as a Masters degree in Chemical Process Engineering.
